This 'Ways to Play' booklet shows you the many simple ways that Animix Drawing Cards can be used creatively and educationally (in line with KS1-KS2 school curriculum). The range of Animix Drawing Cards is ever increasing into new categories, and the versatility is huge. Some of the Drawing Cards have additional functionality to supplement the creative exercise extending into Numeracy, Literacy, Science and Drama as well as the creative activity. All the cards feature interesting facts about each animal which is also a useful resource for story writing. In addition to the interesting fact, the Numeracy Cards feature measurements, weights and average lifespan for each animal which can be used to introduce some cross-curricular mental maths and comparisons; whilst Literacy Cards feature letters and useful descriptive words which can be used to play word games and encourage story writing.

This booklet introduces 20 simple ways to use the Drawing Cards - from mixing the animals and creating your own creatures in drawings; to some cross curricular learning in Literacy and Numeracy; to exploring different mediums and artistic styles; to making puppets; to creating your own pet or simply using the Drawing Cards to play guessing and acting games.
Please note: the activities in this booklet can be applied to any of the Animix Drawing Card categories.
